The handaid has been absolutely amazing. That I'm aware of, she no longer sucks her thumb any time during the day or night. I did however make her wear it the full six weeks even at school without any problems. This was a huge accomplishment for her since she was eight, such an oral seeker and has autism which limits her understanding of why she was wearing it. But she wore it with very little protest. Thanks for creating the handaid. I don't know how we would have broken the habit without it.

The HandAid has been a success in stopping our 4 year old from thumb sucking. She wore them at night until December. She has not sucked her thumb since and is very proud of herself for quitting. We have even noticed that her upper teeth are not protruding as much and her bite is much closer than in September. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your product! I have recommended it to my pediatrician and 2 dentists (1 family, 1 pediatric dentist) and a couple of friends. We have tried a number of other products, but yours worked! Although at first glance your product seems costly, It was much cheaper than the $600 appliance the dentist wanted to place in my daughter's mouth! I liked that there are 2 hand-aids sent. It worked just as expected. My son is now free from that awful habit! I will use them again if he ever gets back into the habit, but I don't see him doing that. He only wore it about 4 weeks total. It seemed very comfortable for him and it was nice having two so that I could keep them washed. He did wiggle his way out of it a few times so I just tightened it up a bit. It's a great product! We had great success with the HANDAID. My son (birthday 10/07/07) had to wear it because his thumb had become infected from sucking it too much. He wore a regular dressing on it for a week until our HANDAID arrived, so he only needed the HANDAID for 3 weeks. He has not sucked his thumb since. We are truly grateful for your product! Hello Ken! The Handaid is WORKING! Yippee! I didn't think ANYthing would get my child to stop the thumbsucking. She is very responsible about putting it on at night and KEEPING it on. It's comfortable enough where she doesn't mind having it on all night, which is exactly what I was seeking. Everything else looked like it would make her hand too hot and uncomfortable and keep her awake or encourage her to remove it. The Handaid is easy to clean and use. My child has been wearing it for quite a while now at night. I'm not ready for her to sleep without it yet, but that day is just around the corner. We told her pediatric dentist yesterday that she has stopped the thumbsucking. The dentist is thrilled, of course. I can see my child's teeth straigtening out since using the the Handaid.
